Well 'Happy New Year'! I cannot quite believe my last post was in November and I also cannot quite believe how my life has turned yet another corner! I have been very fortunate to become involved in a very special and very different Art & Design Gallery in Newcastle City-

The North East Art Collective is an independent, commercial gallery in the heart of the city. Tucked away in the corner of Eldon Gardens-just off from Eldon Square. We support local artists and designers in the North with an eclectic mix of art & design-and I am joining the team to help expand this wonderful gallery and business. John and Colin have invested in the North East because they believe in the talent that we have here on our doorstep and I agree-so please call in and say hello next time your in Newcastle!
I will still be doing my own work, talks and workshops so I have plenty to keep me occupied! And now my focus in back on  my exhibition 'Freepass' in April at the Head of Steam Museum in Darlington, County Durham. Date for your diary-6th April for my little preview-very child friendly-and an afternoon of 'Tea & Cake' ( come on that's what us textiles peeps do so well!) I will confirm time closer to the day!
So I have been doing my research, and taken some fab pictures and now starting to stitch...I will keep you posted...

'Freepass' cards to allowed you to travel on the railways-for FREE!
